It’s our annual Green Up Day trail and this year we’re partnering with Nu Upsilon Tau, our own totally-not-made-up fraternity, to give you a chance to pledge NYT and do some community service. All hashers who participate in Green Up Day will become full-fledged trash bros at the end of trail. I also have a few “Hashers Not Trashers” patches for anyone who collects the most and/or best trash on trai!
This year, we’ll be on our hands and knees picking up other people’s trash around Burlington’s South End with a trail led by BOBO and Skidmark. Trail will start from the parking lot way in the back of 180 Flynn Ave, so take a peak at the GPS coordinates above or below to figure out exactly where. We’ll supply the big, green trash bags and adult beverages, so all you need to bring is a pair of gardening gloves for picking up trash. And just like every year, it’s also Kentucky Derby so make sure to wear your fanciest or funnest hat to celebrate.
On-After will be right at Switchback Brewing which is hosting a big Green Up Hoedown to celebrate picking up garbage and the derby.
