VTH3 Trail #080: Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald

When: Saturday, November 15, 2025, 1:00 PM HST
Where: Somewhere in Burlington, VT
Hares: Flexible Video Endoscope and Rebel’s Cum
What to bring: $6.9 hash cash, a reverence for the sea, bright yellow rain jackets, signed vinyls of Gordon Lightfoot’s "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the tragedy known as the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, a freighter that sank in Lake Superior during a storm on November 10, 1975 with all 29 crew members aboard. Inspired by the song by the late Gordon Lightfoot that immortalized the Fitz, we’ll traverse the shores of Lake Champlain regaling all who will listen with the tale of the time “when the gales of November came early.”

Expect an afternoon of sea shanties, cold winds, and naughty nautical antics.
