VTH3 Trail #077: The Horsepocalypse is Here

  • Allen Brook Nature Trail Parking Lot 39 North Williston Road Williston, VT, 05495 United States (map)

When: Saturday, October 4, 2025, 1:00 PM HST
Where: Allen Brook Nature Trail Parking Lot
Hares: Bhorsecht Canal and Just Alex
What to bring: $6.9 hash cash, a horse, sugar cubes, carrots, apples, reins, saddles, additional horse girl things

Have you ever dreamed of being an anthropomorphised racehorse? Do you have a crippling gacha addiction to Umamusume: Pretty Derby? Or maybe you remember the horse girl, Ava Vogel, that got famous during lock down in 2020? If you answered yes or no to any of those questions then have we got a treat for you! 🐴

Get ready to jump, ride, and whinny through the fall foliage with our very own Bhorsecht Canal and her loyal steed Just Alex. 🐎 That’s right—it’s a virgin lay as Just Alex pops his haring cherry through the rolling hills of Williston. Trail starts from the Allen Brook Nature Trail Parking Lot off of North Williston Road and will be both hobby horse and dog friendly.

Did you know that Williston has cemented itself in the equestrian history books for temporarily being the home to Figure, the horse that sired the first American breed of horse known as the Morgan horse (which is also the state animal of Vermont). Unlike most hashers, Morgan horses are known for their athleticism, stamina, agreeable temperament, and versatility, excelling in disciplines from performance riding to farm work. 💫 The more you know.

🏆 There will also be a best horse competition at the conclusion of trail with a reward! But please note: I have also been informed by our lawyers that it is illegal for anyone to attempt to disguise their horse for this trail. You’ve been warned.
